  • Octoprint! Part 2!

This is part 2 of the octoprint series of blog posts. Check out part 1 here.

  • Octoprint! Part 1!

I’m back in town so this weekend after clearing up/setting up my new desk, I’ve been really trying to sort out all the junk and electronics and half-finished projects I have. If you remember previously, I bought a 3D printer to play with. I had a bit of success with some prints, but didn’t get very far before work and life interfered. I was able to get SD card prints to work, but after reading a lot about the printer, I decided I wanted a better control and job submission system.

  • E-mail Adventures Part 1

I’m on vacation this week so as part of that I figured it would be a good time to try and get into the habit of writing blog posts again. So let’s talk about this project I came up for myself this week.

  • Generic update - when things go wrong

I am trying to write posts on a weekly-ish cadence, but sometimes I miss that SLA. This past weekend is an example of that where I didn’t really get too much stuff done; however that’s okay!

  • New 3D printer!

I made a questionable purchasing decision: I decided (after several years of deliberating and trying to self-justify the decision) to purchase a 3D printer for projects that need small weird bits that may not be easily found somewhere.

  • Indoor Growing Project - Part 1

A few weeks ago I decided I was tired of buying herbs from the store that would just go bad because I would have used a small portion, never the rest of it. This coincided with me going to the local Lowe’s and I happened to take a look through their garden section. Their display had tempted me once before (I was intrigued by the idea of having raspberry bushes, before realizing how long it would take for them to fruit).
